A rogue football found a clubroom window at South Barwon Football Club just before sunset. The panel shattered, the club had evening activities booked, and the light was going.
The call reached us at 4:30pm.
Ninety minutes, start to finish
The broken panel was standard plate glass. We were on site, had the damaged glass out, and the replacement in within ninety minutes of that call.
The new panel went in as laminated safety glass meeting Australian Standards, a deliberate upgrade on what was there before. For a building where footballs are a normal part of the environment, laminated is the sensible specification: if it takes another hit, the interlayer holds the glass together rather than letting it drop across a clubroom floor.
The site was secure and the club opened that evening as planned.

Plenty of Geelong glaziers advertise 24/7. The test is what happens when you actually ring at 4:30pm on a weekday with the light fading.
