Today the Barwon Glass team completed the removal of two large laminated safety glass panels measuring 1960mm x 2960mm each, to assist our client with internal repairs to their automatic car wash machinery.
The panels were installed at a height of approximately 2.4 metres from ground level, reaching up to a total height of 4.4 metres. Due to the size and weight of the glass, we utilised a MPK06 glazing crane paired with a scissor lift to safely extract and lower the panels with precision.
This job demonstrates the importance of specialised lifting equipment and experienced operators when handling oversized commercial glass in elevated installations. Both panels were removed without issue, allowing the client to proceed with servicing the car wash internals.
