Glazier Belmont – Emergency Glass Repairs & Replacement

We attended a retirement home in Belmont after a lower toughened glass panel unexpectedly exploded when it was struck by a whipper snipper. Toughened glass can fail suddenly and leave the opening exposed, creating an immediate safety and security issue for residents and staff.

To keep the tenant safe and the area tidy, we laid down a tarp to catch any fragments and carefully cleaned up the remaining glass. The panel was then replaced the same day with laminated safety glass and finished off with new timber beading for a clean, secure result.

The bottom toughened panel had exploded, leaving the opening unsafe. We placed a tarp down to keep the area clean and protect the tenant’s space during removal and clean-up.

Replaced the panel same day with laminated safety glass and fitted new timber beading to restore security, safety, and a neat finish.
