The Front Door Went, Which Is Why This One Could Not Wait
On this page
A toughened glass door panel at an Inverleigh property exploded after being struck by a stone from a whipper snipper. The glass fully shattered, leaving the doorway unsafe and exposed.
A primary access door changes the priority
Not every broken pane is equally urgent, and it is worth being clear about why this one was.
This was the household's main access door. That means it cannot simply be boarded and left, because boarding it takes away the way in and out of the house. It also cannot be ignored overnight, because it is the most obvious point of entry on the building.
A back window can wait for a scheduled visit. A front door cannot.
Make safe and same-day replacement
Our glaziers carefully removed all the broken glass, secured the opening, and installed a new laminated safety glass panel the same day.
Laminated improves impact resistance and, more importantly for a door in a rural property with grounds to maintain, means the next stone leaves a crack rather than an open doorway.
