Vandalised Front Panels in St Leonards, Replaced the Same Day
On this page
Several laminated safety glass panels at the front of a St Leonards property were cracked by impact in an act of vandalism, leaving the home exposed and unsafe.
The glass did its job
Worth noting what did not happen. The panels were already laminated, so they cracked and stayed in place rather than collapsing into the entrance.
That is the whole point of laminated glass. It still needed replacing, but the house was not left with an open hole and a pile of shards at the front door.
Same day, and matching what was there
We removed the damaged panels and installed new AS1288-compliant laminated safety glass the same day, restoring security without the property looking repaired from the street.
On a front elevation that matters. A replacement that visibly differs from its neighbours advertises that something happened, which is the last thing a homeowner wants after being targeted.

Why laminated on a front elevation
Laminated resists impact and holds together when cracked, reduces injury risk compared with standard glass, meets AS1288, and suits homes, rentals and shopfronts alike.
We cover St Leonards, Indented Head, Portarlington and the surrounding coastal areas for vandalism, accidental damage and storm impact, and work regularly with homeowners, real estate agents and insurers across the Bellarine.
