The team at Barwon Glass were called to an historic church in Geelong after a basketball struck and shattered one of the delicate upper window panels. With the building exposed to weather and safety becoming a concern for visitors, an urgent make-safe was required.
Due to the age of the church and the unique arched gothic window shape, replacement panels are not standard sizes. Our glaziers carefully removed the damaged glass and cut a new panel freehand on site to match the original profile, restoring security while maintaining the building’s character.
